Soulja Boy just signed someone to his record label/gang referred to as SODMG for short, or Stacks on Deck Money Gang for long. This someone is the Atlanta, Georgia dance crew turned rap group Show Stoppas whose hit record "Whoop Rico" ( no idea what that means) has the clubs and radios of teen dancas burnin up across the South. The song is a dance song in which Show Stoppas describes how good they dance.
Show Stoppas - "Whoop Rico" Zshare
Here is the video which serves as an informal announcement of the signing:
These kids have been in lots of rap videos so far for their dancing including "Walk It Out," Baby D's "I'm Bout Money," "Get Silly," and, of course, Soulja Boy's "Crank Dat."
Expect these kids to make it nowhere in rapping but to remain mainstays in Southern music videos made by people under 25.
